Your Message>>>>I coloured this picture of Ryhope School football team 1915, posed in front of an ex Sunderland District tram, presumably in use as their changing room. However, I
have no idea what colour their strip really was. Can anyone help? Thanks

This post's Topic is Ryhope and Seaham Grammar Schools
Posted By Brian Wigham From Reading
Posted on the -26 -February -2009 05:40pm | email
Your Message>>>>
I have noticed that the web site has several references to Ryhope Grammar School and Seaham Grammar School for Girls. I was one of the many who used the special bus provided, the Jolly Bus' which took pupils to the two Ryhope Schools and then onto Seaham. The bus came from South Hylton. Are there people who remember this bus or had friends who came from South Hylton?

Posted on the -31 -December -2008 06:48pm | | email
Your Message>>>>Hello everyone, just trying out this new forum, I know it says it's a guestbook, try to ignore that.
I think you will find it much faster than the old one, an expensive, steam driven Australian thing.
Best wishes from Dave, Brian, Brian and Keith. Keith is the guy who has hand crafted this forum and who translates all our writings and pictures into something called HTML...., you don't know what HTML is....? best leave it that way.
Dave
